The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sun Valley, who took down 192nd ranked Oxford, 21-14.
The Vanguards moved up to 267 from 325 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Ches-Mont - American. A 21-14 win over the Hornets helped Sun Valley improve its standing.
Alex Gooden and Alex Gooden gave Octorara Area a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Gooden threw for 54 yards and one touchdown, while Gooden ran for 101 yards. Teammate Malik Norris added to the ground attack by rushing for 24 yards.
Kevin McQuiston was the best wideout in the league this week as Kennett fell to Haverford School. McQuiston racked up two receptions for 32 yards. Ed Niewinski helped Kennett's passing attack out by catching two balls for 26 yards.
Kennett's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Demons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan Jones has thrown for 502 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Liam Clarke has 10 catches for 213 yards. Jordan Lardani leads the league in rushing with 538 yards.
A big matchup in Ches-Mont - American this week will be when Oxford takes on Great Valley. Mike Peitlock's team is currently in third, while the Patriots are in fifth.
Unionville was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to first in the league. Earlier in the week, the Indians triumphed over Bayard Rustin 13-7.
