The Basehor-Linwood Bobcats lost against the West Chargers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Basehor-Linwood fell to West 51-46. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Basehor-Linwood in their matchups with West: they've now lost three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kamoni Ford, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Noonoo, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Basehor-Linwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Basehor-Linwood will head out on the road to take on Shawnee Heights on Tuesday. As for West, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leavenworth at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Leavenworth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 278th, while West is ranked 94th).
