The Wall Eagles posted their biggest victory since December 9, 2023 on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 68-28 win over Chamberlain. Wall has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Wall was led to victory by Rhea Tucker and Nora Dinger. Tucker dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Dinger scored 18 points along with five assists and five steals. Tucker hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Paige Kjerstad was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.
Wall's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Chamberlain, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Wall will be playing at home against Philip at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Philip focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday. As for Chamberlain, they will head out on the road to face off against Miller at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Miller is ranked 50th, while Chamberlain is ranked 56th).
