The Pe Ell/Willapa Valley lost against the Onalaska Loggers back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Pe Ell/Willapa Valley took a serious blow against Onalaska, falling 58-15. It was the first time this season that Pe Ell/Willapa Valley let down their fans at home.
Blaine King and Blake Howard certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. King picked up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Howard rushed for 107 yards. King hasn't dropped below 100 receiving yards for three straight games.
Pe Ell/Willapa Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Onalaska, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pe Ell/Willapa Valley will take on Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Onalaska, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Forks at 6:00 p.m.
