The Premier Prep- PHHoenix Fire's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 52-42 to Heritage Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Premier Prep- PHHoenix of the 58-53 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture last Monday.
Heritage Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryce Campbell, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Nelson, who scored 13 points.
Premier Prep- PHHoenix has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Premier Prep- PHHoenix will take on BASIS - Chandler at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Heritage Academy, they will play host again and welcome BASIS - Scottsdale, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
