 Desert Mountain's  defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Notre Dame Prep, they now  have a losing record of 4-5.
 Notre Dame Prep was dealt a bruising  35-0 loss at the hands of Desert Mountain in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024.
