Neshoba Central will look to defend their home turf on Friday against West Lauderdale at 7:00 PM. Neshoba Central is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Neshoba Central beat Philadelphia 33-28 last week. Sophomore Jarquez Hunter, who rushed for 212 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Neshoba Central's success. One of the most memorable plays of the matchup was Hunter's 75-yard touchdown rush in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, West Lauderdale didn't have too much trouble with Leake Central as they won 28-10.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-0. We'll see which team can carry over they success and which team inevitably falls when Neshoba Central and West Lauderdale clash.
