Lafayette Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joshua Zapata, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. Zapata has been hot recently, having posted 24 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bruno Tellez, who scored 19 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Lafayette Christian pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Praise Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
