Ahoskie Christian stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 48-28 margin over Victory Christian. Ahoskie Christian is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 20 straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ahoskie Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Morgan Wadsworth, who scored 18 points along with six steals and two blocks. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which Wadsworth has scored at least a third of Ahoskie Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Perry, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Ahoskie Christian pushed their record up to 22-1 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Victory Christian, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ahoskie Christian will take on Mount Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Victory Christian, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Non Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
