The Eastlake Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 74-60 bruising from Woodinville. While losing is never fun, Eastlake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Woodinville is ranked 69th).
Eastlake's loss came despite strong showings from Kaleb Dehaan and Gabriel Prock. Dehaan scored 23 points along with five rebounds, while Prock scored seven points along with three steals. The game was Dehaan's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Kelyan Wandji was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Eastlake's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Woodinville, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastlake will take on Bothell/Inglemoor at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Bothell/Inglemoor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Eastlake likes a good challenge. As for Woodinville, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Skyline at 8:30 p.m. Skyline will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
