Everything went their way against the River Forest Ingots as they made off with a 13-0 win. Lowell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .680. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Lowell is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for River Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
