Scarborough took an ego-bruising defeat against Thornton Academy last Saturday, but they kept their chin up and bounced back on Friday. Everything went Scarborough's way against Lewiston on Friday as they made off with a 41-8 victory. Followers of Scarborough probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The win bumped Scarborough's record up to 5-1. The loss dropped Lewiston's record to 2-5.
Scarborough will take on Bonny Eagle at home at 7:00 PM next week. Scarborough are catching Bonny Eagle at a good time: Bonny Eagle have scored fewer and fewer points over their past three games. As for Lewiston, they will face off against Edward Little.
