It was a good run, but Algoma unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sevastopol Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 36-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Algoma's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Sevastopol, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Algoma will venture away from home to challenge Southern Door at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern Door has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Sevastopol, they will square off against Manitowoc Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Manitowoc Lutheran's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
