After two games on the road, the St. Bede Bruins are heading back home. They will square off against the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers Friday. The Bruins are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
It was all tied up 20-20 at the half for St. Bede and LaMoille/Ohio on Wednesday, but St. Bede stepped up in the second half for a 54-44 win.
Meanwhile, Erie-Prophetstown came up short against Rockridge on Tuesday, falling 40-32.
St. Bede came out on top in a nail-biter against Erie-Prophetstown in the teams' previous meeting in January, sneaking past 52-49. Will St. Bede repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
