Garrett Ace Delivers Best Performance of Season
La Jolla Country Day was led to victory by Garrett Ace, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Ace rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 80 yards.
La Jolla Country Day now has a winning record of 4-3. Ace and La Jolla Country Day will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Army-Navy at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

A Season-Best Performance from Magnus Falkiewicz Leads Santa Fe Christian over Army-Navy
Magnus Falkiewicz produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Santa Fe Christian to the win on Friday. Falkiewicz rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory (which was Santa Fe Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Falkiewicz and Santa Fe Christian have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pj Rogers' Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Pj Rogers produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Santa Fe Christian to the win on Friday. Rogers rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Rogers has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 46.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 25.71 rushing yards per game.

While Army-Navy might've come up empty on Friday, Jacob Eastley wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Eastley was still balling out as he picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
