After three games on the road, Knox is heading back home. They will take on the Glenn Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Friday, Knox suffered a tough 63-41 defeat at the hands of Tippecanoe Valley. While losing is never fun, Knox can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Tippecanoe Valley is ranked 139th).
Despite their loss, Knox saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Rowen Jordan, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals, was perhaps the best of all. Myles Mclaughlin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Glenn's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jimtown.
Knox's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Glenn, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Knox was dealt a bruising 68-31 defeat at the hands of Glenn in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Knox was down 40-20.
