Winning is just a little bit easier when  you work as a team to  rack up eight more assists than your opponent, a fact the Grand Valley Cardinals proved  on Friday. They blew past Steamboat Springs 35-7 on the road. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Grand Valley.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grand Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Chloe Gronewoller, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 13  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Kaylae Medina, who  scored 8 points along with 6  steals and 5  assists.
 Grand Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Steamboat Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Grand Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Palisade at 11:30  a.m.  on December 2nd. As for Steamboat Springs, they will face off against Aspen at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
