The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Windber in their matchups with Berlin Brothersvalley: they've now lost eight in a row.
Several Ramblers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grady Klosky, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Barkley, who scored 13 points.
Berlin Brothersvalley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Haydon Hutzell led the charge by going 9 for 16 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hutzell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Craig Jarvis, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Windber's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windber will take on Conemaugh Township at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
