Leading Freeman to victory were Rylee Peters and Ashlin Jacobsen. Peters scored 19 points along with seven rebounds, while Jacobsen scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The contest was Jacobsen's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Vaida Ammann was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five steals.
Freeman's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Bridgewater/Emery, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Freeman will be playing in front of their home fans against Parker at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Parker is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Bridgewater/Emery, they will head out on the road to face off against Ethan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
