The Calvary Baptist Cougars can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Crossroads Christian 85-25 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Calvary Baptist as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Calvary Baptist's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Giacomo Ghedini, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ghedini has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gradi Ekutshu, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and seven blocks.
Despite the defeat, Crossroads Christian had strong showings from Jacob Faldas, who scored 17 points, and Dean MacRitchie, who scored seven points along with two steals. That was a full 68% of Crossroads Christian's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Calvary Baptist's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.6 points per game. As for Crossroads Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
