Greater Lawrence Tech took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over Groton-Dunstable.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greater Lowell Tech). They blew past Northeast Metro RVT 17-3 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Gryphons in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.
Morgan Haskell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Haskell was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Chelsey Quealy was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Juliana Marion, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Greater Lowell Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
