Make it five blowout wins for the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines this season. They breezed by Milford on the road to the tune of 51-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Wilber-Clatonia has posted since December 9, 2023.
Aiden Zajicek was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds. Carter Skleba was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Wilber-Clatonia and bumps their season record up to 8-8. As for Milford, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilber-Clatonia won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fairbury at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th. Fairbury has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 21. As for Milford, they will head out on the road to challenge Thayer Central on Monday.
