Jaylin Turner gave up the fewest earned runs she has since back in April on Wednesday. She turned in nothing short of a gem, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Turner and Fairmont will face off against Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Firebirds will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 109 places lower in Ohio), but they're not letting that get them down.
