Seminole has gone 8-2 against Fort Stockton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Seminole will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Stockton at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Seminole has three straight victories, Fort Stockton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Seminole is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Pecos with a sharp 15-1 win on Friday. Considering the Indians have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Michael Ray made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in February. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Seminole let Rowin Donaldson and Obed Reyes run wild. Donaldson scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4, while Reyes scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four runs gave Reyes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Oscar Grijalva, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Fort Stockton's offense. They came up short against Greenwood on Friday, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since March 1st.
Fort Stockton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gerry Diaz, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Seminole's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Fort Stockton, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Seminole has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .460. However, it's not like Fort Stockton struggles in that department as they've averaged .450. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
