On Monday, Florin was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to Armijo. Florin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Florin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sean Hatter, who scored 15 points. Hatter scored a full 28.8% of Florin's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. John Saefong was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Florin now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Armijo, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Florin will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Winters at 3:30 p.m. on November 30th. As for Armijo, they will be playing at home against Vallejo at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
