Even though they lost, Glacier was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Capital only rushed for 112.
Capital had a senior duo take command as Merek Mihelish threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes and Dylan Almquist picked up 113 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Almquist also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception. A healthy portion of Mihelish's aerial production (90 yards to be exact) also went to Daniel Larson.
Glacier's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Capital, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
As of now, neither Glacier nor Capital have any future games scheduled.
