Chapman has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Travelers Rest Devildogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Chapman didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Carolina Academy, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory.
Chapman can attribute much of their success to Rashawn Cunningham, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Grayden Humphries, who scored 20 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Humphries has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Moore, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Travelers Rest posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 75-46 win over Broome.
Chapman has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Travelers Rest, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10.
Chapman suffered a grim 68-43 defeat to Travelers Rest in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Chapman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
