St. Lucy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  face off against the Etiwanda Eagles at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 Two weeks ago, St. Lucy's suffered a  tough 16-2 defeat at the hands of Claremont.
 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Etiwanda gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. Everything went their way against Los Osos as Etiwanda made off with  a  12-3 victory. The  win was familiar territory for Etiwanda who now have three in a row.
 Etiwanda got a great performance from  Cameryn Ortega as she  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits (and not a single walk).
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Charlotte Baum, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Taylor Wren, who  went 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 St. Lucy's dropped their record down to 2-9-2 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for Etiwanda, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 13 of their last 15 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season.
 St. Lucy's came up short against Etiwanda when the teams last played  back in April of 2022, falling  4-0.
