Brother Rice waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 22 straight wins... but they left with 23. They never let the Loyola Academy Ramblers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Danny Sheehan's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jackson Natanek was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Ramoley, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Brother Rice pushed their record up to 24-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Loyola Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.
