Katie Shiets was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Shiets has scored at least 25% of Clyde's points. Another player making a difference was Tatum Jeffrey, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Clyde now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Vermilion, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Clyde will head out on the road to face off against Norwalk at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Norwalk will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Vermilion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lorain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lorain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
