North Greene waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-35 W against the Sullivan East Patriots. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Patriots are ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Sullivan East saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eli Hubbard posted ten points along with eight boards and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for Hubbard. Ryan Hurley was another key player, putting up six points.

North Greene's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-4. As for Sullivan East, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-24.

North Greene wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-21 win against Cloudland on the 22nd. As for Sullivan East, they have also already played their next match, a 63-46 defeat against Elizabethton on the 21st.
