Softball Recap: Arlington Wins Going Away Against White Station

Arlington never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the White Station Spartans 16-0. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Gabby Brewer was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, McKenzie Walker was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Juleann Roberts was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Arlington's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-15-2. As for White Station, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.

Arlington has already played their next contest (against Collierville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. White Station does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
