Cape Fear Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cape Fear Academy also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.

Their offense was hitting Harrells Christian Academy from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Ronald 'Trey' Ragan led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Cape Fear Academy will welcome Riverside-Durham at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Arendell Parrott Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
