Ben Mason was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-7 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Preston Devito was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Heath's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Newark Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Heath will square off against New Albany at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. New Albany is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. As for Newark Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Utica at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
