Van Horn are packing up and hiking across state lines for their matchup on Friday. They take on Bishop Ward . If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Van Horn simply couldn't be stopped last week, as they easily beat Butler 48-6. With Van Horn ahead 40-0, the game was all but decided by halftime.
Meanwhile, Bishop Ward had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a serious blow against Summit Christian Academy, falling 0-67.
Van Horn's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Bishop Ward's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Van Horn can add another positive mark to their record or if Bishop Ward can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Van Horn's step.
