Leake Academy took down Newton County Academy 42-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Canton Academy and Central Hinds Academy played the most hotly contested game in MAIS AA District 2 this week, with Canton Academy eventually emerging with a 27-24 victory.
Winston Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Patriots feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Logan Webb has thrown for 436 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Orien Dailey has 12 catches for 179 yards. Zach Taylor leads the league in rushing with 661 yards.
The Rebels made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,513 from 8,365. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 42-7 victory over the Generals last week.
