They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Brookwood 66-37 at home. The score was close at the half, but Northside pulled away in the second half with 41 points.
Brookwood's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Crummie, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Rowell, who scored eight points.
Northside's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Brookwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside will finish 2023 at home by hosting Demopolis at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th. One thing working in Demopolis' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups. Brookwood will finish 2023 at home by hosting Montevallo at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Montevallo will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
