This season hasn't been kind to the Paideia Academy Knights, who are still winless after their fifth game. They took a serious blow against Apostolic Christian on Friday, falling 60-31. Paideia Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-15.
Ayden Maupin was a one-man wrecking crew for Apostolic Christian as he went 9 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Maupin has scored all season. Blake Wilson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Paideia Academy's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Apostolic Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.
