Yuma has won three straight games at home, while Cibola has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Criminals will welcome the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Yuma's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
If Yuma beats Cibola with 15 runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Criminals came out on top against Dysart by a score of 15-10 on Thursday.

Yuma let Derryel Medel and Elia Palencia run wild. Medel went 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Palencia scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Palencia a new career-high in triples (two). Another player making a difference was Saige Sievert, who scored a run while going 3-for-5.
Yuma was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Cibola suffered their closest loss since February 26, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Gila Ridge by a score of 6-4.
Cameron Kasid was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Yuma has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Cibola, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-12.
Cibola's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Yuma has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Cibola, though, as they've been averaging 9.4 hits. Given Yuma's sizable advantage in that area, the Raiders will need to find a way to close that gap.
Yuma suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Cibola in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Criminals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
