Champion has won seven straight games at home, while Wickliffe has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Golden Flashes will host the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. Champion is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.
Champion proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Southeast 12-11.

Adalyn McIntosh was excellent, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-2. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jonna Strock, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Perry hit Wickliffe with a four-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils lost 8-1 to the Pirates. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Leigha Blazetic spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Wickliffe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amanda Peklay, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Champion's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Wickliffe, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Champion hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Wickliffe struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Champion's way against Wickliffe in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Champion made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Golden Flashes repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
