After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Cordova, Fultondale was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They put the hurt on the Fairfield Tigers with a sharp  14-1 victory. The  win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Hayden Tanner looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. That's the fewest  hits  he has allowed since back in April of 2024.
 At the plate,  Jaiden Palmer and  Austin Rogers did most of the damage at the plate:  Palmer  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2, while  Rogers  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  Rogers has posted since back in April of 2024.  Dylen Hudgens was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-1.
 Fultondale  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .625. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  victory  got Fultondale back to even at 8-8. As for Fairfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Fultondale is facing Carver Birmingham at the right time seeing as Carver Birmingham is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Fairfield, they will square off against Woodlawn at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Fairfield will also cruise into their next  game with the timing on their side: Woodlawn will have lost five straight heading into Tuesday's  contest.
