At the plate, Savannah Schaubroeck made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. Kaylee Creuziger also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

On Martin Luther's side, Dani Wise made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Wise has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Delylah Roth was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lilly Janetzke, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Looking ahead, Shoreland Lutheran will square off against St. Thomas More at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pacers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Martin Luther, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic/Christian Life at 4:30 p.m. Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic/Christian Life has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.4 runs per game on average), something Martin Luther will no doubt try to take advantage of.
