Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They put the hurt on the Central Blue Eagles with a sharp 20-5 victory on Thursday. The Vikings have beaten the Blue Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Blue Eagles has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Travon Ball, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Tai Nyguen, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Northeast always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .806. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Northeast's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
