Andrew Brissie put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Brissie's strong effort led Mallard Creek over West Mecklenburg and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks are a perfect 8-0 against the Hawks going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
