Lincoln County took down Coffee County Central 47-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. August Hill ran for 89 yards in the win.
The Falcons led AAA District 8 in scoring this week by notching 47 points on the Red Raiders. Hill ran for 89 yards during the win.
Tullahoma's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hunter Myers threw for 188 and 2 touchdowns and Cole Potter had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Star McCallum chipped in 97 yards. Chase Dixon helped Tullahoma's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 20 yards.
He went 16-29 with 2 interceptions.
Myers put up the best numbers in passing as the Wildcats lost to Lawrence County. Myers' favorite target this week was Potter, who caught 5 passes for 86 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Myers of Tullahoma is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,172. He has also thrown 7 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Tyler Eddings. The Shelbyville Central star has 18 catches for 441 yards.
Next week's game between John Olive's team and Lincoln County will feature a good passing match up as Myers will test his arm against Josh Whitaker's defensive ability.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Wildcats and Don Thomas' team face off next week.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Franklin County takes on the Wildcats. The Rebels are currently in fifth, while Lawrence County is in second.
