After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holliday, the Millsap Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tolar and snuck past 45-43. This was payback for Millsap, who suffered a 46-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Millsap to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tres Bagley, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Braylon Pugh, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
Millsap's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Tolar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Millsap will square off against Maypearl at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday. Tolar is on the road again on Thursday and play against Slidell at 11:00 a.m. on December 7th. Slidell knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Tolar likes a good challenge.
