Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dunlap). They never let the Pekin Dragons get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Tuesday. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.
Dunlap got a massive performance out of Gabby Drake, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave Drake a new career-high. Ella Cunningham also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
