Kossuth is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They skirted past Booneville 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Aggies have posted since September 9th.
Kossuth wouldn't go down easily and took Booneville into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 25-15, 22-25, 15-9.

Chloe Clement and Dallyn Haupt were among the main playmakers for Kossuth as the former had 12 digs and two aces and the latter had 32 kills and three blocks. Haupt has been hot for a while, having posted seven or more kills the last 33 times she's played.
They weren't the only good servers: Kossuth was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 29 consecutive matches.

Kossuth's win bumped their record up to 28-4-2. As for Alcorn Central, their victory bumped their record up to 23-14-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Kossuth has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 11.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Alcorn Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
