The Huron Tigers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 56-42 victory over Edison. Given Huron's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Edison is ranked 710th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Edison's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grayson Smith, who scored seven points. Luke Whiley was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
The victory got Huron back to even at 3-3. As for Edison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
