Tampa Prep had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Shorecrest Prep Chargers on Wednesday. Considering the Terrapins have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Shorecrest Prep from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Tampa Prep, bringing their record for this year to 15-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six games. As for Shorecrest Prep, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-1.

Looking ahead, Tampa Prep will host Maclay at 10:00 a.m. on February 27th. Maclay knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Tampa Prep likes a good challenge. Shorecrest Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
